Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Have you experienced a “God Moment?” These are times when God interrupts our day and reminds us of God’s many gifts such as love, grace, presence, new understandings, affirmation, etc. These are little (and sometimes big) epiphanies or manifestations that cause up to pause and recognize God is present in our lives.
During our daily tasks or busyness we become forgetful or just get lazy in realizing how blessed we are. Blessings come in both our good and bad times.
As I am finishing up my second round of visitations to St. David’s homebound, I am amazed at the witness and revelation of God moments in these encounters. I realize I have entered a holy moment with these members of God’s family as I hear their stories and share in the wonderful gift of the Eucharist. I sense the presence of the Holy Spirit. I leave these residences being a better person as I have been blessed by their sharing of their own God moments.
How about you? What God moments have you experienced?
“May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” (2 Thess. 3:5)
That’s all for now!
Blessed Epiphany season!
