Greetings in the name of the risen Christ! Happy Easter! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Easter???? Wasn’t that LAST Sunday? We celebrated the “Queen of Feasts” on the day of Easter last Sunday but we continue in the Easter season. We have a week of Easter weeks, that is seven weeks in the Easter season, starting on Easter Day and ending Pentecost. Throughout this season, we will hear the Gospels proclaiming the risen Christ. Traditionally on the Second Sunday of Easter we hear John’s version of the Pentecost and Thomas who misses Jesus’ first appearance to the disciples only to make a marvelous statement when he sees Jesus, proclaiming, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus is Lord! So continue to share the amazing news that Jesus is risen. Celebrate the God who pours out his love for all. You are loved. Really! Isn’t that worth celebrating.
Continue to join me and be a part of the Easter family. We are an Easter people. Alleluia! Alleluia! Christ is risen. He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Blessed Easter to you and yours.
Your Servant in Christ,
Father Dave+
