Greetings in the name of the risen Christ! Happy Easter! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Here’s a few odds and ends to share:
Canon Alan James from the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan will be with us on Sunday, May 15. He will be preaching and talking about the discernment process.
The monthly Sunday breakfasts will return. They will be held on the third Sunday but due to activities scheduled for the 15th, the first breakfast will be held on the 22nd. Glad that Carey Draeger will be cooking up a storm once again! See info about the breakfast below.
Rev. Carol attended a Chaplain’s Conference this past Tuesday through Thursday in Minneapolis, MN. Rev. Carol is chaplain to the Diocese’s retired clergy. We look forward to hearing about her experience.
Welcome back to Gayle Donovan and Bill Fleener who attended the Episcopal Provincial Meeting in South Bend, IN on April 29 & 30. Gayle shared some of her experiences during the announcements this past Sunday.
All hands on deck! Please join us on May 21 for a clean-up day inside and outside the church. Many hands make light work as they say. Again see more info elsewhere in the Newsletter.
Remember, if you are unable to worship you can catch us via livestream and recording on Facebook and YouTube or join us on Wednesdays in the chapel at 6:30pm or Fridays at 9:00am.
Reminder, we did have someone who was diagnosed with COVID19 following worship with us last Sunday. COVID19 is still present. Please make sure you have been vaccinated and received the latest booster shot. If you are not feeling well, even if it is only cold-like symptoms, stay home. Take the appropriate precautions. Thank you.
That’s all for now.
Have a great week, everyone!
A blessed Easter season to you all.
Your Servant in Christ,
Father Dave+
