Postponed until June 4: St. David’s Spring Cleaning Day

The St. David’s annual Spring Cleaning Day has been delayed until June 4 due to the strong likelihood of inclement weather.

The National Weather Service is forecasting for Saturday, May 21, a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, with an 80% chance of precipitation. On top of that forecast, showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are likely Friday night, which would cause the outside of St. David’s to be too wet for landscape working.

Due to this weather forecast, the call was made by project leads and vestry to postpone Spring Cleaning Day until Saturday, June 4.

The Building and Grounds Team apologizes for any inconvenience this postponement may cause.

If you’re interested in participating in the Spring Cleanup Day on June 4, please let us know by signing up on a sheet in the Narthex or email ronleixjr@gmail.com.

The St. David’s Cleanup Crew will be tackling a variety of projects. The number of projects the crew takes on depends on the number of volunteers.

No job is too big or too small. Every little bit helps. All ages welcome!
