Dear Friends and Family of St. David’s,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I’ve felt a bit of creativity lately and wrote a hymn for this congregation’s namesake, Dewy Sant or St. David.
Dewy Sant
1. Great our God and loving Savior, move us to receive your Word.
Fill us with your Holy Spirit in baptismal waters ford.
Washed and given life eternal, wondrous love from Christ our Lord;
Wondrous love from Christ our Lord.
2. Long ago, St. David journeyed through Welsh lands both far and near.
Planting seeds of faith and service, leading all to Christ so dear.
Brother David, you have taught us, blessed deeds are great and small;
Blessed deeds are great and small.
3. Oh, dear Jesus send us forward, binding wounds and making whole.
By your Gospel all are nourished, welcomed now within your fold.
All God’s children sing in chorus, Songs of thankfulness and praise;
Songs of thankfulness and praise.

Have a great week. Blessings! Your Servant in Christ,
