In sending Deacon Joe Kennedy to be our next priest at St.David’s, God has answered prayers that we hardly dared to pray! From the depths of our despair in thinking that we could not afford a full-time priest, or even finding one if we could afford one, God has provided! Let us now prove ourselves worthy of His favor by being more and more the people He wants us to be—a vibrant and growing congregation, desiring to reach out to the unchurched and those seeking a new church home. Please join with me in thanking God in our daily prayers for Deacon Joe, his family, and his transition to St. David’s. May we more and more carry out St. David’s Mission Statement by being “ a Christian community where people may come and experience our love of God, our faith in Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit working in and among us.” Praise God!
