Pentecost is a wonderful time to conclude one ministry and begin another!
The winds of the Spirit will part ways between me as your interim priest in charge and the community of St. David’s. My call will take me to the western part of the diocese for a new interim position while St. David’s has called a new priest. It is an amazing and exciting time as a new birth begins for all of us.
I am grateful for the privilege of being your interim priest these past 19 months. I leave with the blessings of being your shepherd and having so many wonderful memories and stories of your faithfulness that I will hold in my heart forever. I am thankful for your witness to the Gospel and delighted to have been a part of the St. David’s family. I truly believe the Spirit brought us together in this brief time just as I believe the Spirit has led me to my next interim call and Father Joe Kennedy to you.
The Spirit breathes new life into all of us, into our communities and families. The Spirit is alive at St. David’s.
